Zwavelman is said to have hit police vehicles with a car and was arrested for assault

CARTER COUNTY, Okla. (KXII) – A Sulfur man was arrested in Carter County after allegedly ramming police vehicles with his car.

According to court documents, the incident happened on Monday when Joshua Brown, 21, led four officers from Ardmore Police and Chickasaw Lighthorse on a chase.

The chase continued through the streets of Ardmore, along Hwy 77, then onto Hwy 70 and I-35.

According to court documents, Brown drove his car into two different police units with the intent to injure the officers.

Brown has been charged with two counts of assault and battery on a police officer and one count of evading/attempting to elude a police officer.

He faces up to 11 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
