Zheng survives Andreeva scare, advances to US Open

Olympic champion Zheng Qinwen survived an early scare on Wednesday to beat Russia’s Erika Andreeva 6-7(3) 6-1 6-2 in scorching conditions to advance to the third round of the US Open.
