Yoshinobu Yamamoto Will Play Catch Next Week – MLB News

14 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto (shoulder) will play catch next week. He had been sidelined since June 16 with a rotator cuff strain. The 25-year-old was previously shut down from throwing and will begin a program next week. “It’s a big step,” said Dodgers manager Dave Roberts. Yamamoto continues to make progress in his rehab and was described as pain-free on Wednesday. He owned a (6-2) record with a 2.92 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, and an 84:17 K: BB before landing on the injured list. Barring any setbacks, Yamamoto appears to be on track to return in August. Fantasy managers should continue to stash the Dodgers rookie in all formats.Brad Camara – RotoBaller
