Yoshinobu Yamamoto Moved to 60-Day IL – MLB News

20 seconds agoLos Angeles Dodgers starting pitcher Yoshinobu Yamamoto was reassigned to the 60-day IL on Saturday. Brent Honeywell, who was successfully claimed off waivers from the Pittsburgh Pirates, will be placed on the 40-man roster in Yamamoto’s place and is expected to be active on Sunday. Yamamoto is not eligible to return until Aug. 15, but returning so soon is likely overly optimistic, as the Japanese righty only began a pitching program on Saturday and will likely need a few rehab starts before he rejoins the club.
