Brooks Jensen made a full appearance on WWE NXT tonight, where he spoke to General Manager Ava about his recent antics.

UPDATE: It appears Jensen’s apology wasn’t entirely sincere, as a few minutes later he was shown attacking Je’Von Evans backstage, before Josh Briggs put an end to it.

There has been a storyline going on for months where Jensen has become increasingly uneasy about his position in NXT, and his behavior has led to him being ousted from the Performance Center.

This largely played out on social media, but recently it also made its way to television, when Jensen made multiple uninvited appearances at NXT and was removed by security.

At one point, he even announced on social media that he was leaving WWE, but that never actually happened.

It even went so far as to perform at indie shows, most notably promoting his father, former WWE star Bull Buchanan.

He was a guest on WWE NXT tonight during a backstage meeting with Ava to discuss the situation.

Jensen seemed very calm and apologetic, saying he knew he had gone too far and that he was sorry for his behavior.

Ava warned him that she and Shawn Michaels were very close to releasing him, but that a few people vouched for him and they decided to give him a second chance.

Jensen noted that he now has a great “support system” around him, but it’s unclear whether that was a hint at something like a new group, or just a throwaway line.

Brooks Jensen closed the evening by saying, “This is my life and I’m going to make a difference, I promise you,” before shaking Ava’s hand.

This isn’t the first time he’s used the phrase that he’s “going to make an impact,” which some fans have taken as a precursor to him appearing in TNA in the future.
