WSL: The new managers for the 2024-25 season, including Sonia Bompastor

Laura Kaminski only started her first season as senior manager in the summer of 2023, but she has now reached the top division.

Kaminski led Crystal Palace to the championship title last season, guiding the side through a thrilling battle for top spot to secure a place in the WSL.

It was a demanding title race, but Kaminski remained calm, saying she never looked at the table and trusted that performance would pay off.

“I am convinced that the performance speaks for itself. If you perform well every week, it shows.”

Kaminski, who was previously assistant at Tottenham when that team gained promotion to the WSL, also spent five years as manager of the England under-19 team.

Life in the top division of English football will be a big change for Palace, but Kaminski hopes her team will enjoy it and show why they are here.

“They’ve put themselves in a position where they all deserve to be there, so now go show the world what you can do at the top level because all eyes are on you and you deserve to be seen,” she added.
