World No. 1 Nelly Korda will lead the U.S. women’s golf team at this summer’s Olympic Games in Paris.

USA Golf announced Tuesday that Korda, Lilia Vu and Rose Zhang will represent the Stars and Stripes.

Korda is the defending gold medalist from the Tokyo Games, while Vu and Zhang will make their Olympic debuts.

“I am honored to represent the United States on the Olympic stage again this summer in Paris,” said Korda. “Winning the gold medal in Tokyo was a dream come true and an incredible highlight of my career. I look forward to defending my gold medal and bringing home some more hardware for Team USA.”

Korda, Vu (No. 2 in the world) and Zhang (No. 9) qualified for Team USA based on their positions in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings at the end of the Olympic qualifying period. It ended with last weekend’s KPGA Women’s PGA Championship, where Vu finished second.

“These three women enter Olympic golf competition with a combined eight wins on the LPGA Tour this season and are ready to reach the podium in Paris,” said Andy Levinson, president of USA Golf.

The women’s golf competition is scheduled for August 7 to 10 at Le Golf National. A field of 60 players will participate in a 72-hole stroke play format.

The men’s competition runs from August 1-4, with Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark and Collin Morikawa representing the American team.
