Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department Raises Money With Ice Cream Dinner

WOODBURN, Kentucky — When the Woodburn Volunteer Fire Department was founded in 1962, there was an immediate need for funding for equipment.

The fundraiser they came up with was the community’s favorite Ice Cream Supper. The ice cream supper is back again this year and there is plenty of fun to be had.

From cake walks and raffles to food trucks and even live music, there’s something for everyone. Fire Chief Bob Skipper says it’s a great way to get out and connect with the community.

The Ice Cream Dinner will take place on Saturday, August 12th, starting at 6:00 PM at Woodburn Ballpark. Mark your calendars now.
