Windsor police issue an arrest warrant for a violent robbery suspect

Windsor police are searching for a suspect responsible for an attack in the city’s east end that left one man seriously injured.

Officers responded to the 5200 block of Tecumseh Road East around 9 a.m. Thursday after a man was found in an alley with life-threatening injuries.

The victim was rushed to hospital and remains in intensive care.

the police said The victim had been seriously assaulted by another man after the pair left a nearby establishment together around 2:30 a.m. Police surveillance footage shows the suspect hitting the victim in the head several times.

An arrest warrant has been issued for 34-year-old Charles Leighton Taylor Pinnace, who is wanted on charges of aggravated assault and aggravated robbery.

Pinnace is described as a black male, approximately five feet tall and weighing approximately 200 pounds. He has black dreadlocks and brown eyes.

According to the police, he should be considered dangerous. If you recognize him, do not approach him yourself and call 911 immediately.
