Windows 24H2: Problems with WD-SSDs, Endlos-Boot on 22H2/23H2

Since this month, Microsoft has made the 24H2 update for Windows 11 available. The major feature update of the years brings more features, and the original version of RAR data or KI-stützte features. Another couple is patching a bigger problem.

Via the new Portal message, PCs with the SSD plates “WD_Black SN770” and “WD Blue SN850” can experience a Bluescreen of Death (BSOD). The problem is that the DRAM cache of both SSDs is fixed.

Windows 11 24H2 is a heavy user of a so-called “Host Memory Buffer” (HMB) that functions its own statistics as Zwischenspeicher. The update 24H2 here is not older than 200 MByte – normal and 64 MByte. The problem is solved since the following text:

Windows 22H2/23H2: “Revert known issue” for Bootschleife

In another fall, the optional patch KB5043145 for Windows 11 22H2 and 23H2 was installed which causes problems. If Microsoft has appeared in the Release Health Center, this message about a final Bootschleife has appeared. There is a troubleshooting issue, it could be a problem with Bluetooth or USB connected hardware that has stopped functioning.

If the Entwickler continues here, a “Known Issue Rollback” will be initiated. Here Microsoft sees the hidden matters, while the Nutzer itself became active. The inner workings of the Windows PC function run automatically. If KB5043145 is not yet installed, it may be that Microsoft is no longer active: Microsoft has automatically performed the automatic display of updates.
