Wilton: Truck carrying six cars rolls after colliding with car in south-west Sydney

A truck carrying six cars overturned after colliding with a car, causing major delays during the morning rush hour.

Two were treated by paramedics after the truck carrying six vehicles collided with an SUV and rolled on its side, causing significant delays in Sydney’s southwest.

Emergency services were called to Picton Rd, near Almond St in Wilton, after reports of a two-vehicle crash just before 6am on Friday.

Camden police arrived on scene to find a car transporter containing six cars and an SUV had collided, with the semi-trailer rolling on its side.

The 35-year-old driver of the car was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

The male truck driver was uninjured, although NSW Ambulance said both people were treated by paramedics who remained at the scene.

Picton Rd is closed eastbound between Almond St and Macarthur Dr. There are diversions.

Drivers should expect significant delays and motorists are urged to allow extra travel time.
