Willy Gnonto: Leeds United striker signs new contract until 2028

Leeds United striker Willy Gnonto has signed a new four-year contract until the summer of 2028.

The 20-year-old Italy international joined Leeds from Swiss club FC Zurich in 2022 and has made 76 appearances for the Elland Road club, scoring 14 times.

He started in last season’s play-off final, which Leeds lost 1-0 to Southampton, and in all three Championship games so far this season.

“I am very happy with this extension,” Gnonto told the club’s website. “It has been my second home from the beginning, I can say. I have enjoyed myself here and with the ambition in the club, I see my future here.”
