Will you help police identify the suspicious man seen on the UVM campus?

BURLINGTON, Va. (WCAX) – Police are asking the public for help identifying a suspicious man seen on the UVM campus after an attack last week.

Burlington police said last week that a man attacked a woman and tried to take off her clothes. It happened at 1 a.m. on November 2 near the intersection of Maple and South Prospect streets.

On Monday, University of Vermont police released photos of a suspicious man seen on campus. They say they briefly detained him on Sunday, but then fled.

The police want you to call immediately if you see this man and say: do not approach him. They also want to hear from anyone who can identify him. Call UVM Police at 802-656-3473.
