Will ‘Duku Duku’ be promoted to the Orlando Pirates first team?

Orlando Pirates legend Joseph Makhanya has proven his coaching talent at the club over the past two years.

In other news, Orlando Pirates fullback Bandile Shandu looks set to stay at the club next season.

Shandu struggled for game time last season and reports suggested his time at the club was over.

The fast defender only made sixteen appearances for Jose Riveiro last season.

More worrying for Shandu was the fact that only seven of his 16 appearances were starting the line-up.

Initial reports suggested the former Maritzburg United star could be heading to SuperSport United as a free agent, but his agent has since emphatically refuted that claim.

According to his agent Mike Makaab, Shandu still has one year left on his current contract with Orlando Pirates.
