Who is Prime sports reporter Ade Oladipo?

ADE Oladipo is a boxing presenter who has reported on various events for DAZN.

Who is Ade Oladipo?

Ade Oladipo, 42, was born to Nigerian parents and raised in Brighton with his foster parents, before moving to East London at a young age.

He represented Essex in both football and athletics and trained at the Tottenham Hotspur Academy, his sporting career began at a young age.

He won the 2021 Audio Productions Award for Best New Voice. The jury described him as “a true joy to listen to and a dazzling new light in sports broadcasting”.

How long has Ade Oladipo been a sports reporter?

Ade started his career as a sports reporter in 2015 as an analyst at Arise News.

Just a year later he moved to ABN Radio & TV, where he presented the daily Metropolitan Mix Show, after which he rose to become head boxing commentator for Kwese Sports.

In 2017, Ade launched his eponymous YouTube channel Ade Olapido, where he discusses boxing news. The channel now has almost 55,000 subscribers and 15 million views.

What has Ade Oladipo presented in his career?

In addition to his work at DAZN since 2022, Ade has presented a wide range of programs, all related to sports.

In 2019, he joined the Sky Sports News football team, where he reported on all developments during the Premier League and EFL transfer windows.

Since 2020, Ade has presented his own daily show on talkSPORT called The Social, featuring Premier League news past and present.

In December 2023, he became the first-ever black presenter of live Premier League football when he covered Crystal Palace’s home defeat to Bournemouth on Amazon Prime.

He has also reported on some of the world’s biggest sporting events for Fox Sports and ESPN, including the 2020 European Championships, the World Boxing Championships and the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, as well as UFC and NFL events.
