When does the NBA season start? Time, TV and opening schedule

The defending champion Celtics, who had a remarkable performance last season, will host the Knicks, who recently signed two star players, Karl-Anthony Towns and Mikal Bridges, in trades that have dominated offseason headlines. Knick fans are excited to see how Towns will lead the starting five, which includes Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, OG Anunoby and the newly added Towns and Bridges.

In the second game of the evening, the Timberwolves will visit Los Angeles to play the Lakers under the new leadership of JJ Redick, who has moved from NBA analyst to head coach. When does the NBA season start?

The NBA Opening Night is on Tuesday, October 22. The first game between the Boston Celtics and the New York Knicks is scheduled for 7:30 PM ET, followed by the Los Angeles Lakers facing the Minnesota Timberwolves at 10:30 PM ET.
