What did Diddy do? CA woman sues Sean Combs, claiming he ‘raped’ her as revenge for saying he was involved in Tupac’s death

ORINDA, California — Sean “Diddy” Combs is facing a disturbing new lawsuit from a California woman who claims he “raped” her as revenge for her saying he was involved in Tupac Shakur’s death.

In disturbing detail, the latest civil lawsuit against business mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs describes a gruesome scene in an Orinda, California apartment in 2018.

“A very brutal gang rape,” said the plaintiff’s attorney, Ariel Mitchell.

A woman claims to have met Diddy via FaceTime in 2018 after running into one of his friends at a bar. During that conversation, her attorney said the woman made a comment that upset the rapper.

“She told Mr. Combs that she believed he had something to do with Tupac’s murder, so she was not interested or impressed by seeing him. Little did she know that this would harm her later,” Mitchell said.

The lawsuit says that a month later, Diddy’s girlfriend “set her up” to be raped by the rapper in Orinda, where she said she was drugged and threatened with a knife, and Diddy said she would: Paying for her statements about Tupac during the video call.”

The lawsuit states that “as he violently raped the woman,” the rapper told her “that her life was in his hands and that if he wanted…he could ‘take’ her and she would never be seen again. “

According to her lawyer, the woman was also raped by other men, and despite being drugged, she was able to escape on the way out, telling Diddy, “She didn’t party with him and she didn’t like partying with him and that he raped her.”

The lawsuit alleges that neighbors in the area called the police.

“The Contra Costa County Sheriff’s Office responded to the neighbor’s home at the time of the incident as several 911 calls had been made,” Mitchell said.

According to the lawsuit, the plaintiff went to the hospital several weeks after the rape because she was still in pain.

The lawsuit alleges that hospital staff, the Walnut Creek, California, police department recorded the plaintiff’s statement. This time, she decided not to mention Diddy because she was afraid she wouldn’t be believed and would be harmed by the rapper if he found out she mentioned him.

KGO, an affiliate of ABC San Francisco, reached out to Walnut Creek and Orinda police and has not heard back.

The woman’s attorney said law enforcement agencies have refused to turn over the police reports.

“I think that in itself is troubling. Her team needs this information,” said legal analyst and former prosecutor Steven Clark.

Despite several new allegations of rape and sexual assault against the rapper between 1995 and 2021, Clark is pushing for these allegations to be independently investigated.

“This matter needs to be investigated on many levels. In particular, how was it investigated at the time of the complaint? Was this person treated as a victim of sexual assault or was she treated as someone who lacked credibility?” Clark said.

The plaintiff is seeking $50 million in damages from Diddy and those involved.

The Contra Costa County, California Sheriff’s Office said they received a report on March 23, 2018, and that detectives thoroughly investigated the allegations. However, they determined that the claims were unfounded.
