Warriors enter training camp with multiple starting spots open

Steve Kerr enters training camp with the Golden State Warriors with multiple open battles for starting positions. Stephen Curry and Draymond Green will undoubtedly fill two of the spots, with Andrew Wiggins likely a third, but the other two have some potential candidates.

“What I like about this camp is that we do have spots available,” Kerr said. “We have a lot of guys who have started a lot of games. Last year, Wiggs (Jonathan Kuminga), Draymond (Green) and Trayce (Jackson-Davis) started a number of games. (Brandin Podziemski), De’Anthony (Melton) and Buddy (Hield) have been starters for most of his career. The easiest thing for me to do is tell the guys that there are starting spots available. That doesn’t mean I’m going to tell you or them how much.”

On top of the starting lineup question for Kuminga is his ongoing extension talks.
