A heat advisory remains in effect for much of the Bay Area, with temperatures in the 90s and around 100 before gradually cooling. Vianey Arana has the microclimate forecast.

The heat advisory is in effect until 11 p.m. Monday for the inland North Bay valleys and mountains; The coastline of San Francisco Bay; Eastern Bay; South Bay, including San Jose; Santa Cruz Mountains; eastern Santa Clara Hills; and the coastal areas of Marin and Sonoma.

A heat advisory means warm conditions could impact people who work or travel outdoors, as well as people who are heat sensitive and have no means of cooling or hydration, the weather service says.
