Volleyball Preview: Commerce | BLITZ

The Lady Tigers had a program record 10 wins last season. Commerce didn’t add volleyball until the 2020 season, so this is a big step for them. The next step would be to make the playoffs for the first time. Could happen this year with the talent returning.

Team strengths: “We lost three seniors last season, but we don’t have any returning seniors this season,” Fouche said. “Our program is young, so this is a group that has really come together because of our program. Hustle is no match for the competition.”

“If we continue to grow at the rate we’ve improved over the last two years, this is the year we’re really going to be contenders,” Fouche said. “This group is aggressive, hardworking and they communicate well. As a collective group, we’re going to be a force.”
