Virat Kohli, one of India’s most celebrated cricketers, has consistently amazed fans with his performances, including his memorable innings during the ICC T20I World Cup. However, a recent revelation of his grade 10 score sheet has caught the attention of the public.

The report card, which showed Kohli scoring high marks in English and low marks in maths, went viral and sparked a heated debate on social media.

The resurgence of Kohli’s academic results has elicited a range of reactions online. Many netizens have praised Kohli for defying the stereotype that class 10 results determine future success. Several comments have emphasised the relatability of Kohli’s results, with many fans noting their own similar experiences.

One user commented: “Your certificates (diplomas) are just paper,” while another added: “Your 10th grade transcript cannot determine your future; it has proven this.”

Virat Kohli completed his schooling up to class ninth from Vishal Bharti Public School, after which he shifted to Savior Convent School in Paschim Vihar, where he continued his schooling up to class twelve.

Despite his poor performance in mathematics, Kohli’s success underlines that passion and hard work are the most important factors for success.

In several interviews, Kohli said that his favorite subject was History. He indicated that he was very interested in learning about the past, which contributed to his enjoyment of the subject.
