Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon Trying to Buy AEW, Controversial Personality Says

In professional wrestling, anything can happen and one person in particular believes that Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon will buy AEW.

We live in an interesting time in professional wrestling. For the first time in about seven decades, the majority of WWE stock is not owned by someone with the last name McMahon. There were Jess McMahon and Vincent J. McMahon, who ran Capital Wrestling Corporation for a few changes. In 1982, Vincent K. McMahon bought WWE from his father and turned it into the largest professional wrestling company in the world.

Vince only left WWE after being pressured by lawsuits alleging sexual harassment, assault, human trafficking, and more. TKO Holdings now runs the company, with Nick Khan and Triple H playing key backstage roles. Stephanie McMahon is not officially back, and we haven’t seen Shane McMahon in over a year, though he has spoken to AEW wrestlers like Mercedes Mone.

Can Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon Take On WWE?

During an interview on Sportskeeda Wrestlebinge, Vince Russo thinks that Vince will buy AEW from Tony Khan and run it behind the scenes; with Shane as the face. “We’ve seen this with WCW,” Russo said. “It’s happened before. (Buying AEW) could be under Shane’s cover, that’s what I’m saying. Shane is as clean as a whistle. Vince could be behind it and nobody knows.” Russo likes to talk, so everyone is skeptical of what he says. Although, it’s not the craziest idea. Plus, the whole WCW vs WWE angle back in 2001 backfired big time.

The biggest hurdle would be Vince since he is blacklisted from professional wrestling. On the other hand, Shane is welcome and Tony Khan said the same. I doubt we will ever see Vince on TV again, but he could be Shane’s puppet master. We last saw Shane at WrestleMania 39 where he injured his ankle. Vince, Shane and Tony vs Triple H, Stephanie and Nick Khan would be something to see; even if it is a long shot. So, do you think Vince McMahon and Shane McMahon will buy AEW to spite WWE?
