Villages in southern Honduras cut off by floods

COSTA DE LOS AMATES, Honduras: Several villages in southern Honduras have been cut off after heavy rains caused flooding in the Goascorán River.

Heavy rains in Central America have caused at least 27 deaths from landslides and floods in the past week, mainly in El Salvador, but also in Guatemala and Honduras.
