Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle L. Parker announced Wednesday that she has reached an agreement with the Philadelphia 76ers for a new arena in Center City, preventing the team from moving to Camden, New Jersey.

“We are grateful to Mayor Parker and her team for their time and dedication in evaluating our proposal and look forward to working with the City Council to take the next steps,” the 76ers said. said in a statement.
