Video: Pereira and Prochazka share one final stoic look | UFC 303

It will all happen tomorrow evening (Sat. June 29, 2024). UFC303 starts LIVE on ESPN+ PPV from the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada, but fans of the first fight already witnessed the ceremonial weigh-in on Friday.

While UFC 303 was originally expected to feature the return of Conor McGregor, the promotion has put together a solid card in light of a injury to ‘Notorious’. This includes a fascinating main event rematch between UFC light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira and former titleholder Jiri Prochazka. The two were expected to clash later this summer, but they will now settle their scores with two weeks’ notice.

Fortunately, the action doesn’t stop there. UFC matchmakers pulled another rabbit out of their hat and booked a featherweight scrap between Brian Ortega and red-hot contender Diego Lopes for the co-main event. Ortega, who was in line to compete at lightweight in the upcoming bout Noche UFC event at the Las Vegas Sphere, could not make the weight, so the match will now be contested in the up to 155 pound class.

Ahead of Saturday’s International Fight Week event, UFC 303 competitors stepped onto the stage for ceremonial weigh-ins on Friday. This included a collection of final staredowns between some of the biggest names on the card. Check them out below:
