Former Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce made his debut as a host on Monday night football when his old team took on the Atlanta Falcons, and he gave fans insight into the famous “tush push” move.

The legendary center analyzed the play he had played a key role in during his career when the Eagles threw the ball to fourth-and-short in the fourth quarter.

“I think we’ve been waiting to get a good run like that,” he said. “They do a great job of coming in, trying to get a free run with the hard count, and still running. The left side, Jordan Mailata is 365 pounds, who’s going to stop him two feet?”

Philadelphia capitalized on its first “tush push” of the drive, and the Eagles went for it on the goal line a few plays later to score and take a 16-15 lead. While Kelce will likely do his best to remain objective in the broadcast booth, he couldn’t resist calling the play a “there we go.”

Kelce had a storied NFL career, but his post-playing days are already on par with his time on the field. He’s become a star off the field thanks to his podcast with his brother Travis, commercial deals, and other ventures. Now, he’s trying something new by stepping into the broadcast booth, and so far, he hasn’t been disappointed.
