Hall of Famers Shannon Sharpe and Deion Sanders believe Tennessee Titans wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins needs a change of scenery.

Sharpe and Sanders discussed the Kansas City Chiefs’ injury crisis and how it affects their three-peat bid. Nightcap co-host Chad Johnson mentioned the idea of Kansas City acquiring another receiver, prompting Sharpe to reveal Hopkins’ name.

“He’s sick in Tennessee with Will Levis; that’s what he does,” Sharpe said.

Sanders added that “no balls are coming out of there,” referring to the Titans’ quarterback

It’s not just that Levis is tied for the second-most interceptions (five) in the NFL through three starts. The second-year signal caller’s decision-making was comically poor at times.

An attempt to turn the ball out of bounds while falling resulted in a pick-6 lead for the Chicago Bears in Week 1.

A week later, Levis made an ill-advised toss back that led to a turnover inside the red zone.

He didn’t do anything as egregious in the Titans’ 30-14 loss to the Packers, but had two interceptions and was sacked eight times.

If Levis keeps this up, calls for the team to trade Hopkins will likely grow louder.

The five-time Pro Bowler will be a free agent this offseason, so Tennessee might as well cash him before the Nov. 5 deadline if their playoff hopes are already extinguished.

Hopkins, 32, would also likely like to compete on a winning team. He’s not yet at the end of his career, but his best days are clearly behind him. The window for him to get a Super Bowl ring is getting shorter and shorter.

No one would blame the decorated pass catcher if he decided to proactively push the issue and force his departure from the Titans at this rate.
