Victoria Taylor: Missing Malton nurse drowned, inquest says

A nurse whose body was found in a river three weeks after her disappearance died as a result of drowning, an inquest has heard.

Victoria Taylor, 34, was last seen at her home in Malton, North Yorkshire, on September 30.

Her disappearance led to extensive searches and her body was recovered from the River Derwent on October 22.

North Yorkshire area coroner Catherine Cundy previously opened and adjourned an inquest into her death, saying Ms Taylor’s preliminary cause of death was drowning.
