Victim hospitalized as DC police search for suspects in possible hate-motivated attack

WASHINGTONDC – Early on October 27, a man was brutally attacked. One man was hospitalized, prompting an urgent search for several suspects, who were caught on nearby surveillance cameras. The attack happened around 1:42 a.m. in the 1900 block of 14th Street, Northwest, and involved several individuals who assaulted the victim, officials said.

The man, whose injuries were described as significant but not life-threatening, was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Law enforcement officials have released images of the suspects and asked the public for help identifying them, but have advised against any direct involvement.

Investigators are looking into whether the attack may have been motivated by hate or bias, although they noted that this classification could change as new information emerges.
