The Chicago-based content creator, who now has over 2 million TikTok followers, has quickly risen to internet fame as she continues to share videos, including attending events with makeup artist Patrick Ta and appearing on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on August 19.

RuPaul Charles, the host of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” was hosting the show that night and asked what was going through her mind as she filmed the now-viral video.

“Well, apparently the trauma of working in retail affects you so much that you start using the word ‘demure’ on the Internet,” she responded, naming Mariano’s, an Illinois grocery store chain, as “very cute, very demure.”

In the same interview, Lebron described the word “demure” in her own words.

“I think demure is a mindset. I was crazy and out of control, and then I found some ‘demurity,'” she said. “And with that came success!”

On August 21, Lebron shared two photos on TikTok of himself standing outside Netflix headquarters, writing, “Stay tuned my divas.”

Netflix’s official account responded to the post, writing, “she is THE MOMENT.”

In another video, Lebron talks about the impact the trend’s popularization has had on her and her loved ones’ lives.

“My best friend is struggling with her mental health because of her living situation and thanks to Demure I’m able to rent her my extra bedroom in my new apartment,” Lebron captioned the video. “We’re leaving the neighborhood babe you’re safe now.”
