VALORANT Map List | All Maps in the Game

VALORANT’s map swimming pool has been growing steadily since its release, constantly challenging us to discover new hiding and lurking places, and to get creative with our favorite agents.

While maps like Breeze offer long sightlines suitable for Operators or guns, other maps like Split have claustrophobic corridors with close quarters combat. There is a DIGESTIVE cards for every type of player. New cards are added to the game all the time.

Other than League of Legendswhich is only played on Summoner’s Rift, DIGESTIVE cards make the meta more excitinggiving every agent the chance to prove themselves as an indispensable team member. Yet, some cards are suitable for certain agentswhich gives them an edge over opponents. So, here are all currently available maps in DIGESTIVEtogether with useful tips and tricks that can make or break your game.

Every card in VALORANT

The new card rotation can be confusing, especially if you’re just joining in on the fun. But there are currently 11 DIGESTIVE cards:

  • Climbing
  • Bind
  • Breeze
  • Fracture
  • refuge
  • Refrigerator
  • Pearl
  • Split
  • Lotus
  • Sunset
  • Abyss

Maps are often adjusted and edited as needed, especially if players manage to abuse a spot or location.

Not all cards appear in the competitive pooland you don’t have to learn them all before you feel comfortable entering the ranked queues.

Currently, there are seven cards in rotationand this will probably change when DIGESTIVE a new season is approaching.

Climbing

There’s no shortage of options on Ascent. Image via Riot Games

Set in Italy, Ascent is what Riot describes as an “open playground” and features only two locations—A and B. They have two entrances, but what makes this tricky is the middle area that it opens up for flanking and lurking. Plus you can play with it impenetrable doors for sneaky glances and quick ins and outs.

Bind

Two teleporters and lots of fun. Image via Riot Games

Binding is as easy as DIGESTIVE can get cards, with only two locations and no center section—bbut it’s not lame either. There are two one way teleporters that open the map to flanks and lurking creatures, but every time an agent or object passes through, there is a audio cue players nearby. Due to its compact size, there aren’t many callouts on this map and you’ll want to keep your eyes on the sites.

Breeze

This map takes you to nowhere but the iconic Bermuda Triangle. Again, there are only two locations who need guarding, but the middle area is quite large and you never know from which angle attackers will come. There are useful tools like ropes that push you out of your comfort zone and force you to find your limits. Because this map is so open, the best weapons here are long distance like Marshall, but if you have the money to spend, Phantom and Spectre are always ideal.

Fracture

Not a fan favorite, but one of the most unique VALORANT maps. Image via Riot Games

The US-made Fracture card may seem like an easy card at first, but it is unique because it is made outside two locations, it has quite lots of neutral territory, and you can never be too paranoid here. You never know when enemies might scare you here, so it’s best to always be cautious. To make matters worse, you have cable cars and a automatic door which can easily reveal your location. Fracture is also a map that is quite controversial among players.

refuge

Haven isn’t really a haven, don’t let the name fool you. Image via Riot Games

Honestly Haven doesn’t feel like a haven or heaven to me at all. It’s a nightmare because it’s huge, three locationsand you never know when you’ll walk into a deadly trap. The size of this map does not affect the number of ultimate balls that spawn, and you can only find them in the A and C areas. Since this map is full of allies and corners, I like to bring my good old friend Shorty along, just to be on the safe side.

Refrigerator

Valorant Icebox Card

Don’t let its size fool you: Icebox is anything but an easy map. This map emphasizes and rewards game knowledge and finesse, and here you must always adapt on the fly or perish. It comes with only two planting locations, various heights, ziplines, and a lot cover, and you really need to know this card by heart before diving into the ranked queues when it’s in rotation.

Pearl

A fan favorite location. Image via Riot Games

When life gets tough and you need a good one DIGESTIVE match to make you feel like your old self again, Pearl is the place to be. Unlike Icebox, which gives you a headache with all its angles, Pearl follows a simpler design with only two locations and three corridors and thankfully doesn’t have any tools that you have to learn how to use. If you want success on this map, I recommend bringing either Astra or Killjoy. While Astra excels on this map because of her ultimate ability, Cosmic Divide, which divides the map however you want, Killjoy can easily control almost all critical areas.

Split

Ah, Split; They don’t know the meaning of the word. Image via Riot Games

When you think of Split, you probably think of all those ascenders you can find there that connect different areas of the map. On this map it is not enough to two locationscorridors in between, and in the middle, but you have to be aware of what or who might come at you from the aboveThat’s exactly why you want to bring Raze, Omen, and Killjoy to this map so you can gain the upper hand.

Lotus

VALORANT'S map, Lotus.
There’s a lot to love about Lotus. Image via Riot Games

Lotus is far from the simplest DIGESTIVE card, but it is definitely one of the most fun. It has three locations, three orb spawn locations, ropes, revolving doors and a destructible wall. On this map, the sky is the limit for your creativity, and there is no strategy you can’t try out here. You can combine both melee and long-range weapons, bring Omen and Raze if you want to optimize your team comp, but this is where your own skills and game sense really shine.

Sunset

I like this Ascent-esque DIGESTIVE map. Image via Riot Games

Set in sunny Los Angeles, Sunset features two unique locations and plenty of room to move with three lanes. In addition, there is a door that leads between B Marker and Courtyard. This map perfectly combines advanced strategy with the DIGESTIVE simplicity that we love. If you want to find success here, you can choose Yoru, Raze and even Chamber to capture and hold critical points.

Abyss

Watch out for those steep edges. Image via Riot Games

The newest addition to the pool, Abyss, lets you descend from unknown heights and take your enemies with you. It’s the only DIGESTIVE map with no outer borders and a death drop in the middle section, giving us several opportunities to outpace and punish our enemies (and also make some funny blunders.) In addition to the borders and drops, you have to deal with two planting sites, a crucial middle section, and enough defensive corners to clear. Intel and global control are non-negotiable, so make sure your team is initiator-heavy and has Astra or Omen.
