Usman Garuba Real Madrid agrees three-year contract

After three seasons in the NBA, Usman Garuba is returning to Spain. Garuba has reached an agreement to rejoin Real Madrid for the next three seasons.

Garuba spent last season with the Golden State Warriors. The third-year forward signed a two-way deal before signing a standard contract before the end of the season. This followed Garuba’s first two years of his NBA career with the Houston Rockets.

The three-year deal will see the 6-foot-1 forward return to Real Madrid, where Garuba played from 2017 to 2021. It is not known whether the deal includes NBA games, should Garuba wish to return to the United States.
