US Open 2024: Emma Raducanu to play Sofia Kenin on Tuesday; Katie Boulter, Jack Draper, Dan Evans also in action

British number one Boulter, seeded 31st, will start against Belarusian qualifier Aliaksandra Sasnovich at 16:00 BST.

Draper, the British men’s number one and seeded 25th, will face China’s Zhang Zhizhen at around 19:00 (BST) to kick off the post-Andy Murray era in the men’s singles.

Former world number one Murray retired after last month’s Olympic Games, when he partnered Evans in doubles.

Evans, 34, will face Russian Karen Khachanov at around 18:00 (BST) as he hopes to find joy in a difficult year in which he has won just four singles matches on the ATP Tour.

There are also many big names in action.

Italian Men’s World Number Jannik Sinner is playing for the first time since it was announced that he had tested positive for a banned substance.

The 23-year-old, who was cleared of any wrongdoing or negligence by a court last week, will face American hope Mackenzie McDonald at Arthur Ashe Stadium at approximately 19:30 BST.
