(Updated) Watson Amelia of Hololive English ends channel activities, remains an “affiliate”

In a short stream on her channel, Watson, who often goes by Ame, said the move was “not technically a graduation in name” and was not influenced by “any personal or private circumstances.” Watson did not elaborate on her reasons for ceasing her activities, but said they were “very simple.”

“I may be hard to see right now, but yeah, I do believe that everything will be okay,” she said. “I believe in it, and after everything, I think you guys have helped me believe in myself. You’ve taught me that the ‘Ame Way’ is too strong, (and) too stubborn.”

Until the “grand finale” on September 30, Watson will continue to participate in the ongoing holoGTA roleplay event. She also has plans for several endurance streams, a charity stream, two more member streams and “a bunch of collabs.”

VTuber’s detective-themed YouTube memberships and member content will remain available until October 31 at 7:59 a.m. PDT. Fan letters will continue to be accepted until November 29 PDT.
