Update on Tamina’s current WWE status

In the year 2024, the wrestling world is awash with contract extensions and talent moves. In line with this, Bobby Lashley’s contract is rumored to be expiring soon. Speculation is that they will be heading to AEW to reform The Hurt Business stable with Shelton Benjamin.

There are also concerns about what will happen to longtime WWE veteran Tamina Snuka. The same weekend as the report, it appeared that she had been subtly removed from WWE’s internal roster. While MVP could be on her way out, Fightful Select confirmed that Tamina would not be returning as an on-screen character.

Her absence from regular WWE TV tapings has been known for several months now, only adding to speculation about her career.

Regarding this matter, insiders claim that she can still play a role in WWE, given her status as a “locker room leader and mother” for many years in the women’s division, according to some sources connected to the organization.

Nevertheless, PWInsider stated that Tamina is still listed on their roster on WWE.com under the MISC section, but that this indicates an unknown future with the company. Tamina has not stepped into a WWE ring in over a year since she last wrestled there.

She was last seen during an episode of “WWE Main Event” that aired in February of this year, which proves the above claim true or false? After being picked by “SmackDown” during the 2023 WWE Draft, it was soon after revealed that there were no immediate plans for her involvement with the brand at all.

Additionally, when 2024 rolled around last spring, her name was nowhere to be found in the draft pools released by World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
