Upcoming Netflix TV Show Premieres, Seasons for the Second Half of 2024: Culture: iTech Post

We’re now in the second half of the year and it feels like time has flown by so quickly. On the bright side, this also means that there are a lot of highly anticipated shows and seasons coming up. Here are the upcoming releases you don’t want to miss between July 2024 and December 2024.

1. ‘Cobra Kai’ Season 6

The series, which served as a sequel to the “Karate Kid” films, already had an established fan base to appeal to, effectively making it a successful series that ran for six seasons. However, this will be the last and it will be split into three parts. The first part will be released on July 18, while the other two parts will arrive in November and in 2025.

2. ‘The Umbrella Academy’ Season 4

It’s been a chaotic three seasons since the show debuted, and we’ve seen the group travel through time, engage in a dance battle, and even destroy the world over the years. This time around, it’s the group’s last chance to make things right, as season 4 is the show’s final season, airing on August 8.

3. ‘Emily in Paris’ Season 4

The romantic comedy starring Lily Collins is a good mix of drama and comedy, allowing fans to binge-watch the entire series in one weekend. The series is set to release on August 15 and continues with Emily navigating her messy love life, Gabriel, his girlfriend, and her friend Camille, who found out she was pregnant.

4. Premiere of ‘Nobody Wants This’

Another romantic comedy set to debut on September 26, the series follows the story of an agnostic woman, played by “The Good Place” actress Kristen Bell, and a rabbi played by “The OC” actor Adam Brody, who fall in love. We already know Bell is a good match for a comedy, so it should be interesting to see how this plays out.

Many people already know who Lara Croft is because of the popular video game franchise Tomb Raider, on which the series is based. The series, which is set to be released on October 10, is set between Shadow of the Tomb Raider and the more recent titles. In the animated series, Lara Croft is voiced by “Captain America: The First Avenger” actress Hayley Atwell.

6. ‘Arcane’ Season 2

The story of Vi, Jinx, Caitlyn and many more will continue in the second and final season of “Arcane,” which already has a release date of November. We can expect an action-packed series as tensions rise and a new lead character is likely to emerge (or re-emerge). Based on the teasers that have been released, the three-year wait might just be worth it.

7. ‘The Recruit’ Season 2

Espionage seems cool and all, but Owen, played by Noah Centineo, quickly finds out that the life of a CIA agent is much harder than he expected. He’s been through so much in the first season, which ended with his kidnapping. With the 2024 window now open, it would be interesting to see where his captors take him, or who they even are.
