Ukrainian forces downed 36 Russian drones

At 10 a.m. on October 25, the Ukrainian military successfully intercepted 36 drones launched by Russian forces during a night attack on October 24.

This is evident from a report by the Ukrainian Air Force on Telegram, as quoted by Ukrinform.

Starting on October 24 at 11 p.m., the Russian army attacked Ukraine with 63 attack drones, including Shahed-type UAVs and other unidentified drones, launched from Orel, Kursk and Primorsko-Akhtarsk directions.

The air attack was countered by Ukrainian air defense, aviation, electronic warfare units and mobile firing groups of the air force and armed forces.

As of October 25 at 10 a.m., drone shootdowns have been confirmed in multiple regions, including Odesa, Kiev, Mykolaiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Zhytomyr, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Lviv, Rivne and Poltava, with the majority intercepted in the Odessa and Kiev.

In addition, 16 Russian drones were lost due to radar tracking.

Previously, Ukrinform reported that the Ukrainian military intercepted about 15 attack drones on the night of October 25 when Russian forces tried to launch an attack on Kiev.
