Tyrese Haliburton If anybody wants to play with me, they should come to Indiana

Tyrese Haliburton was recently a guest on the Pat McAfee Show. In an extensive interview, Haliburton was asked about the topic of recruiting other players to play with him. While he admitted that these conversations do happen, Haliburton said there’s only one way it works for him.

“The story about me bringing players to Indiana was blown out of proportion. They made it sound like I was the only one doing it, but everybody was recruiting. I’m just in the smallest market, so when I do it, it gets magnified. That’s fine,” Haliburton said. “Indiana is a great market. It’s a basketball state. We have a good business here, so if somebody wants to play with me, they should come to Indiana. I’m not going anywhere.”

Haliburton enters the first year of a five-year, $244.6 million rookie scale extension this season. The Pacers also recently signed Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, Obi Toppin and TJ McConnell to long-term contracts this offseason.
