Two Sydney beaches have been closed after hundreds of black golf ball-sized balls washed up on shore

Authorities closed two beaches in Sydney, Australia, on Wednesday after hundreds of golf ball-sized black balls washed up. Randwick Mayor Dylan Parker said authorities were unsure what the spherical, dark black tar balls were, but as a precaution Coogee Beach and Gordons Bay Beach in the city’s east were closed to the public.
