Two men, in their 30s, die and three people were rushed to hospital after the horror crash in Donegal

Two people were killed and three others injured in a two-vehicle road accident in Donegal on Friday evening.

The tragedy occurred at around 10pm on the N15 at Liscooley near Castlefinn, Co Donegal.

Gardaí and emergency services attended the scene.

TWO DEATHS

The two male occupants, aged 30, from one of the cars were fatally injured.

A woman and a man, aged 70, from the second vehicle were rushed to Letterkenny Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, while another woman, aged 30, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

A statement from An Garda Síochána confirmed that the road remained closed on Saturday morning pending a technical investigation by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators.

They added that local diversions were in place.

CALL FOR INFORMATION

Gardaí are currently appealing to any road users who may have CCTV footage, including dashcam, who were in the area at the time of the collision, to make the footage available to them.
