Mancherial: Two persons were killed on the spot while a woman was seriously injured when two motorcycles collided on a service road of NH 363 at Doragaripalli in Naspur mandal late on Sunday evening.

Mancherial sub-inspector M. Praveen said the victims were identified as Mulka Uday (31), an Indian Army soldier and Patti Narasimha (45), a private employee, both from Dorgaripalli village. The injured person was Narasimha’s wife Ramadevi. Uday and Narasimha were seriously injured when the two motorcycles collided, resulting in the instant death of the two and injuries to Ramadevi. While Uday was returning from Ramnagar in Mancherial town, Narasimha was on his way to Gadderagadi in Kyathanapalli at the time of the accident.


Uday’s wife was pregnant and the delivery date was scheduled for Monday.

Based on a complaint received from Shivaramakrishna, Uday’s brother, a case was registered against Narasimha. Investigations were conducted.
