State finalist Lake Orion was among Oakland County schools with nearly a handful of players earning postseason all-state honors from the Michigan High School Softball Coaches Association.

It was no surprise that the players were again well represented, especially on the Division 1 team, after three teams from Oakland County reached the semifinals.

A total of 25 players were recognized by the MHSSCA — one more than last season — including 21 in Division 1.
