The women’s beach volleyball season will begin on the first day of the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. It will be the eighth time the sport will be played since its debut at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.

The United States and Brazil are currently tied for the most medals in women’s beach volleyball, with each country having won seven. However, the U.S. has the upper hand in gold medals, having won four to Brazil’s one gold medal.

Notably, reigning American gold medalists April Ross and Alix Klineman will not be in Paris to defend their title. Their absence will pave the way for new American duos Taryn Kloth and Kristen Nuss and Kelly Cheng and Sara Hughes to make their mark on the 2024 Games.

This way you can follow all the beach volleyball action during the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
