TV actor Nitin Chauhaan, known for Crime Patrol and Splitsvilla, dies at the age of 35

Television actor Nitin Chauhaan, known for winning the reality show ‘Dadagiri 2’, passed away in Mumbai on Thursday. He was 35 years old.

Nitin, who hails from Aligarh, UP, had become popular after winning ‘Dadagiri 2’ and went on to appear in several other shows including MTV’s ‘Splitsvilla 5’ and episodic series like ‘Zindagi Dot Com’, ‘Crime Patrol’ and ‘Friends ‘. ‘.

Nitin’s last on-screen appearance was in SAB TV’s daily ‘Tera Yaar Hoon Main’ in 2022. His co-stars from the show, Sudeep Sahir and Sayantani Ghosh, confirmed the news of his death but stated that they had no further details.

According to a social media post by his former co-star Vibhuti Thakur, Nitin allegedly committed suicide.

While sharing a picture of herself with Nitin, Vibhuti wrote, “Rest in peace my love. I am really shocked and sad. I wish you had the strength to face all the problems. I wish you were mentally strong like your body (sic).”

Actor Sudeep Sahir also paid tribute to his co-actor on Instagram and wrote, “Rest in peace, friend.”

However, further details are awaited. Nitin’s father rushed to Mumbai to collect his son’s remains.
