Travis Kelce in talks to buy $4 million Caribbean hotel resort after ‘loved’ vacation with Taylor Swift

Travis Kelce wants to diversify his company and focus on the hotel and resort industry.

The NFL star has extended his contract with the Chiefs, signed a string of deals with brands that are making him millions, and is now in the spotlight more than ever because of his relationship with Taylor Swift.

Things have been going well for Kelce and his bank accounts are growing.

But the goal is to be successful on and off the field, and explore options to diversify his funding sources. A passion of Kelce’s since he began his relationship with Swift has been traveling.

Swift and Kelce vacationed together in the Bahamas, a trip that rekindled his love for the Caribbean.

“You know what? It’s just a beautiful place down there, huh?” Kelce said after the trip.

“You can get it all there. All the love in the world.”

From luxury hotels to beautiful resorts, the Chiefs star wants to invest in the tourism sector and is in talks to do so.

Sources have told The US Sun that Kelce is in the process of becoming an ambassador for leading resorts.

“Travis is a dynamic guy who wants to invest in things he loves and thinks he can make good business out of,” said a person close to Kelce’s entourage.

“He’s been saying for months that hotels and resorts are a target for him. In recent weeks there have been discussions with many groups to get him on board as a shareholder and even as an ambassador for a number of groups that own hotels and resorts around the world, including many beach destinations like the Bahamas, Thailand, some of the Greek islands and Barbados for example.”

Kelce was set to receive a large compensation package based on an advertising campaign for the resorts.

He would also receive shares in the company so that he could learn more about the resort industry.

“The deal to become an ambassador is an offer of about $2 million a year for one of the largest international hotel and resort groups (with an advertising campaign focused on his travels and a TV commercial), and they are offering him some equity in the company so he can get into the industry and learn from it,” the source continued.

The source continued that Kelce planned to first learn more about the company as an ambassador before investing in the group.

“I think it’s a really good idea to bring him on as an ambassador and give him the opportunity to learn more about this particular industry before he invests some of his money in that group,” the source said.

“The other two conversations are with groups that have hotels and resorts primarily in the Caribbean and the West Coast (up to Cabo) and Hawaii. He loves Hawaii!”

Kelce could spend several years as an ambassador while simultaneously raising capital in the company before moving on to open a resort in one of his favorite locations.

“The possibility would be to add him to the investor pool and have him invest about $3 to $4 million over three years, by being part of the investors who plan to open some large luxury hotels and resorts in Hawaii and Cabo (Mexico),” the source said.

“The conversations with those groups are going very well and Travis is very excited to invest in that business. That’s one of his business goals.”

Kelce is under contract with the Chiefs through the 2027 season, so he has several years to invest in the venture before committing to it full-time.

He will likely travel more with Swift during that time and be able to explore more locations where he wants to have a resort before getting into the business.
