Travis Kelce Gave Patrick Mahomes a $22,000 Designer Birthday Gift

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes turned 29 on Sept. 17, and the Super Bowl MVP has been showered with love from his teammates and friends. Travis Kelce, in particular, gave him an unforgettable gift.

Mahomes made a birthday appearance on a radio show The drive on September 17 and shared how he and his loved ones celebrated the weekend. When asked what he got for his special day, he confessed that his wife Brittany Mahomes had not yet given him his gift. “I haven’t gotten my gift from Brittany yet, but she said it would be cool. So I’m looking forward to it,” he said.

Kelce, however, wasted no time in celebrating the occasion. “Travis got me a Louis Vuitton golf bag,” Mahomes revealed. He admitted, however, that it might not be the most practical bag for real-life use. “I don’t know how much I’ll be able to use it on the golf course, but it’ll be nice to have,” he admitted.

Mahomes didn’t specify which bag Kelce bought him, but the options aren’t cheap. Louis Vuitton golf bags retail for anywhere from $22,600 to $31,500, depending on size and material.

The three-time Super Bowl champion is no stranger to Louis Vuitton, especially in recent days. On September 15, Mahomes stepped out at Arrowhead Stadium in a toe-length LV top, pairing a white tee with the iconic LV monogram with beige denim Damier work pants.

Now that Louis Vuitton has designed the medal covers for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, the company could potentially collaborate with the NFL.
