– Paris Saint-Germain boss Luis Enrique is unhappy with his side’s attacking options and plans a move for the Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford in January, according to TEAMtalk. PSG and Rashford’s representatives met in the summer and could meet again before January, although the Old Trafford hierarchy are adamant the 27-year-old is unavailable. Rashford scored after just 90 seconds as United drew 1-1 at Ipswich Town on Sunday in Ruben Amorim’s first game in charge, although the new boss has been heavily linked with a move for the former striker Viktor Gyökeres.

– Chelsea will battle city rivals Arsenal for the signing of the Newcastle United striker Alexander Isaac and have “made inquiries” about bringing the 25-year-old to West London, according to TEAMtalk. Sweden international Isak is said to be in doubt about his future at St James’ Park and is increasingly frustrated at not being involved in the UEFA Champions League. Newcastle are keen to fend off interest from other clubs by offering their attacking talisman a lucrative new contract, but Chelsea reportedly believe a bold offer could lure the striker to Stamford Bridge.

– Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola is eyeing a move for the in-form AFC Bournemouth defender Ilia Zabarnyiaccording to Football Insider. Zabarnyi, 22, has been an ever-present for the Cherries under boss Andoni Iraola and has shone on the south coast this season. Guardiola has been impressed with the centre-back and his age, talent and experience appear to be the perfect solution for a Man City defense that has leaked ten goals in the last three games in all competitions.

– Barcelona forward Robert Lewandowski has already scored 20 goals this season, six fewer than his total of 26 last year, and his form has prompted a one-year contract extension, according to Sport. The Poland international, 36, is in the final year of his contract but shows little sign of slowing down. Blaugrana are moving quickly to tie him down after the end of the current campaign.
