Traffic delays possible prior to the graveside service at Bowling Green Cemetery

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – A funeral service on Wednesday could result in increased traffic around St. Joseph Cemetery and Fairview Cemetery.

Traffic is expected to increase, according to a social media post from the city of Bowling Green. In addition. St. Joseph Lane is closed from 9am to 1pm

Officials say a funeral is planned at St. Joseph Cemetery with an expected attendance of 300 visitors. Both the Mt. cemetery Moriah and St. Joseph Cemetery will be closed in preparation, officials say. The city says this will prevent access to these cemeteries for those not attending the service or visiting loved ones.

Drivers are encouraged to find alternate routes and proceed with caution during this time.
