With two playoff events now complete, the PGA Tour heads to East Lake this week for the final Tour Championship, which will conclude the FedEx Cup campaign.

The standings will look a bit strange, at least on Thursday.

The Tour Championship uses a staggered start in the rankings, giving top-seeded Scottie Scheffler a significant advantage in Atlanta. Scheffler, who has won six times on Tour this season, begins the week at 10-under par.

Xander Schauffele, who finished second in the standings, will start at 8-under this week. Hideki Matsuyama will start at 7-under and Keegan Bradley — who won the BMW Championship on Sunday to earn a spot in the East Lake field — will start at 6-under. That system will work down to the final five players in the 30-man field, who will start at even par.

Whoever wins the tournament wins the FedEx Cup, which comes with a $25 million bonus and a five-year exemption on the PGA Tour.
