Top 10 QB makes first visit to Penn State football since signing

Troy Huhn, the 2026 top quarterback and Penn State football commit, is expected to make the cross-country trip next week to meet James Franklin and the Nittany Lions for the annual Lasch Bash. The trip marks the first time the Mission Hills, California, prospect has returned to State College since committing to Penn State in June.

Huhn has not publicly confirmed the news on his social media pages, but his visit is reported by Rivalsamong other recruiting channels. The Lasch Bash is one of the biggest recruiting events of the year for James Franklin and the Nittany Lions, with nearly four dozen prospects already expected to show up on Saturday or Sunday.

“Coach Franklin has done a great job, and so has the entire staff,” Huhn talked about his visit to Happy Valley on June 19which preceded his commitment announcement the following week. “I felt very welcomed when I was there. It felt like home when I walked into that office. I felt really supported; they all loved me and I really appreciate the love they showed me. I felt like a priority when I was there and that means a lot to me.”
